Getting Inspired to write
Inspiration comes from everything that is around us. We just need to tap into our flow state. If we are going to be inspired to write we must first clear our minds because we don't want our mixed thoughts to hinder our imagination and suppress our inspiration. We need to connect with nature and what it has to offer. There are so many things that can inspire you to write like for example, songs, instrumental pieces, movies, comics, pictures, what people say, etc. Finding true inspiration starts with the simplest things. It could be something that your friend said or a stranger mentioned. The ideas we receive momentarily can be our greatest piece. Always write your thoughts. Express yourself as you write when you become inspired. Just write don't think about the errors that you make because that will hinder your inspiration and stop the flow of your creative story.
Developing your Creativity
Building on your creativeness is really a game-changer. A good and effective way to do this is to write fantasy stories whereby you create everything. You introduce new meanings of words that you created. You build a new world with the thoughts that you produce and write about. Creativity is our use of imagination and original ideas. Let's look at an example of developing our creativity.
I was inspired by something someone said and I decided I wanted it to be a short story.
- The example of a fantasy story I wrote about.
Micky Dang had an Alturr (Alturr was a chain whip that had a six-inch sword-like blade at the tip. It could turn into a modified sword by using her mind. The Alturr was very sharp) and a Semigal (A Semigal was similar to a golden shield. Micky Dang could use it as a hoverboard or change it into a mechanical horse or protective barrier if she wanted. It was a rare complex shield given to her by the Hurbian gods. Gods whose power was limitless.) to defend herself against the deadly Bla'Os of Bridal Kay. Bla'Os were warriors and creatures combined. They had four pairs of arms on their backs and blade tales. Their skins were hairless but their muscles were well defined. Bla'Os could disappear whenever they were in the desert or on the sand. They had unknown powers as well. Micky Dang was ready to kill some of them as they growled loudly with their yellow pupils fixed on her.
Utilizing your Imagination
We produce more thoughts when we are suddenly inspired to write or we just get a sudden idea. Never let your imagination fade away. Develop your creative writing immediately and start to portray your thoughts as they come. Developing your imagination takes time but if you are a person that gets ideas all the time and can imagine things then you are creative when it comes to imagining things. So be sure to write them. Don't let them fade.
Writing fluently
If you are going to be creative then you need to write every day. Writing every day helps you to structure your thoughts better and describe your imaginations accordingly. Writing helps you to become a better writer and improve your writing skills.
Structuring your story
When we are inspired to write, many of us have problems as it relates to structuring our paragraphs and writing our ideas. However, when we learn to structure our story then we can write it better. The first approach we are going to take is to start writing what we see in our imagination. Sometimes we are going too fast so we miss a lot of what is happening. However, if we structure our story accordingly to how we produce our thought then we can have a better story. When structuring your story be sure to write your main idea, the character sketch, the conflict, and what the story is about. We have to do a sketch so that we can remember to know what we are writing about. We don't want our imaginations to fade and then we say “there goes a good idea.”
